Quelle: http://www.westernpacificweather.com/"Mekkhala is going to have a significant impact on the Philippines as we head into the weekend. The central portions of the Philippines will see the impact of this storm first, with likely flooding conditions in place throughout the weekend for places like Cebu and the rest of Visayas (Level: Likely Flooding, 17-18 Jan 2015). The storm will also produce possible severe conditions throughout the weekend, with the greatest concerns being high winds and heavy downpours (Level: Possible Severe, 17-19 Jan 2015). Probable flooding conditions are extended into parts of Luzon and Mindanao, with upgrades to Likely Flooding by Sunday, especially for south Luzon, possible depending on the track of Mekkhala (Level: Probable Flooding, 17-18 Jan 2015)."
